There's a lot of pain being felt by the Oilers these days. As of Oct. 31/2009 we have 6 players not suiting up. Sheldon Souray and Steve Staios are both out with a concussion.
Souray was tripped by Calgary Flames captain Jarome Iginla and placed on the day-to-day list. On Oct.30 he was moved to the long term injury list and is out indefinitely. Steve Staios was hit into the boards on Tuesday, Oct. 6 and is out indefinitely.
Lubomir Visnovsky and Mike Comrie are both out with the flu. Marc Pouliot is out with a sports hernia and Ryan Stone has recently had knee surgery and will be out approximately 8 weeks.
We wish our injured players a safe return to the ice.
