NHL Players Positive on H1N1 Flu Virus

There is no exception for H1N1 flu virus. Ladislav Smid Edmonton Oilers defenceman had contracted the swine flu and it is confirmed after the test result.

As of now, all other players, coaches, and staff have no confirmed cases. Although, some players like Ales Hemsky, Mike Comrey and Gilbert Brule who missed few games because they got seasonal flu and it is tough for the team. The teams are not immune to this new virus but they are trying their best to be cautious.

The Avalanche backup goaltender Peter Budaj had been diagnosed and confirmed with swine flu. He did not make to join the team for their four-game road trip but he hopes to rejoin the team before the four-game ends.
